This website is a photo biographical archive dedicated to the life and travels of my grandfather, George Bennie Davis, Lt. Col, USAF (Ret.) through the materials he left behind — his flight logbooks, his photographs, and his meticulous record-keeping across decades of aviation.
The purpose of this project is both preservation and interpretation: to safeguard fragile historical materials and to make them accessible to family, researchers, and aviation history enthusiasts.
As this archive grows, photographs will be paired with flight records whenever possible — connecting places to dates, travels to aircraft, and names to faces.
This is a work in progress and an act of love: a tribute to a man who lived much of his life in the air, and a way to share his legacy with anyone who may find meaning in it.
